TENNIS 2010

Atholl Heights is indeed fortunate to have 3 beautiful all-weather tennis courts - a privilege not enjoyed by many Primary schools. The courts are about to be upgraded in the near future

Tennis programmes are in progress throughout the year. General tennis is available for beginners and intermediates in which they are taught the basic skills of the game by school staff members

During the year  teams  are selected to compete in a  friendly league. When playing league matches our players wear the trendy Atholl Heights tennis outfits which the children enjoy wearing

We have over the years had pupils selected for the Pinetown and Districts teams and also to represent KwaZulu Natal. 

Towards the end of the year an internal school Championship is held and the winner of this knock-out event is awarded a trophy and named Tennis Player of the Year.

An independent, professional coach is available at our school on Fridays. Parents can enrol their child for private or group lessons with him at a cost.
