The Audio-Visual Centre
This Centre was opened on the 7th August 2002 at a function
held at the school. Guests of Honour included Mr Mthimkhulu (Minister of
Agriculture) as well as Mr Grieve (Governing Body Chairperson at the
time) and
various Departmental Reps such as Mr Cele and Miss Mandraj.
The centre boasts a DVD player, data projector with two
workstations, a state of the art Peavey sound system and big screen
technology. The Centre is in the form of a lecture theatre with seating
for 120 children. It is also air-conditioned.
Atholl Heights Primary School is justifiably proud of
this centre and it adds another dimension to the "Simply the Best"
Primary School in the area.
